I am a fine art wedding and portrait photographer based in Fredericksburg, Texas. I love natural light and photographing during the golden hour at sunset especially! My deepest desire is to create beautiful images that are classic, natural, and truly paint your unique story vividly!
My hubby and I were married in March of 1999, and currently are blessed to reside in one of America's most iconic and loved small hometowns, Fredericksburg, Tx. I graduated nursing school later in life, as a registered nurse in 2010. We enjoy spending time with our 4 energetic daughters ages 21, 19,9, and 7. We also enjoy loving on our Yorkie, Chuy, who loyally nannies our 2 youngest daughters. When I am not photographing, I love scouting out new portrait locations, and shopping with my 2 teen daughters. My time is filled with fun while teaching my 2 youngest to read and write. I help to post social media for our local moms support group, MOPS/MOMSNEXT. When I need some time to refresh my soul. I love getting out in God's nature, and photographing landscapes, especially, flowers, rainbows, and always sunsets!
My husband and I eloped when I was almost 19 years old and we were married by the Justice of the Peace in Willis, Tx March 14th, 1999. I deeply regret that we did not have a memorable wedding surrounded by family and friends. I believe this is the very reason that I take such great joy in photographing weddings for my clients. I absolutely love hearing about how my clients met, funny date night stories, how he popped the question, and all the details! It is an honor to see how each wedding is unique as each individual brings in their own ideas, personality, and style and how these couples come together in unity to plan their wedding of a lifetime. I desire for my clients wedding day to be full of joy and as relaxing as possible! I greatly anticipate the wedding day with just as much excitement as my couples! My goal is to vividly preserve my clients wedding day in all of their photographs so well, that their hearts can take a trip down memory lane to revisit that very blessed day in all of the years to come!
From the moment I receive your contact form, I strive to provide the utmost of most personable experiences catered just for YOU! I would love to get to know you more by meeting in person, talking over the phone, or even Facetiming! I also love helping with wedding day timelines, and vendor recommendations! I gladly answer any questions you might have as well. Once you are ready to book, an official contract is emailed to you to digitally sign, and a nonrefundable retainer fee is due to reserve your wedding date. I will be more than happy, and quite excited to discuss color coordinating outfits, and piecing accessories together for your engagement session as well!
BONUS: I have a specialized wedding guide, and engagement style guide I email clients upon booking! The wedding guide has timeline examples, helpful tips, first look info, recommended vendors, and more! The engagement styled guide helps my clients through suggestions about seasonal wardrobe, recommended stores for shopping, bringing pets to be photographed, ring cleaning, and much more!
My sentimental heart has longed for quite some time, to have had my own picturesque wedding; so much so, that I even catch myself now daydreaming about a small vow renewal ceremony with family and close friends gathered around. I left home, and eloped with my husband when I was almost 19. Our vows were exchanged in a small white walled courtroom with a Justice of the Peace, none of my family there, and a handful of quick pictures snapped by my new father in law.
I believe my past has shaped why photographing weddings is so very near and dear to my heart. My heart cannot help but beat with great excitement while photographing another couple's wedding. My heart finds true joy in giving others the gift of beautifully heartfelt images on their wedding day, and for all of the rest of their years to come.
It is with my whole heart that I give, when being of service to my couples on their sacred and once in a lifetime day.
Thank you for taking the time to connect with me:)
