I specialize in fine art wedding and portrait natural light photography and am based in Fredericksburg, Texas. I love natural glowy light and photographing during the golden hour at sunset, especially! My deepest desire is to create beautiful images that are classic, natural, and truly paint your unique story vividly!
My hubby and I were married in March of 1999, and currently are blessed to reside in one of America's most iconic and loved small hometowns, Fredericksburg, Tx. I graduated nursing school later in life, as a registered nurse in 2010. We enjoy spending time with our 4  daughters, son in law, and granddaughter. We also enjoy loving on our Yorkie, Chuy, who loyally nannies our 2 youngest daughters. When I am not photographing, I love scouting out new portrait locations, and baking with my 4  daughters. I feel fulfilled at home when my family time is filled with fun and laughter with the ones I love! I also enjoy volunteering on leadership for our local moms support group, MOPS/MOMSNEXT. I also am a photographer for a nonprofit that rehabilitates young girls that have been humanly trafficked in the worst of ways. When I need some time to refresh my soul. I love getting out in God's nature, and photographing landscapes, especially, flowers, rainbows, and always sunsets!

the heart behind

what i love to do

My husband and I eloped when I was almost 19 years old and we were married by the Justice of the Peace in Willis, Tx March 14th, 1999. I deeply regret that we did not have a memorable wedding surrounded by family and friends. I believe this is the very reason that I take such great joy in photographing weddings for my clients.  I absolutely love hearing about how my clients met, funny date night stories, how he popped the question, and all the details! It is an honor  to see how each wedding is unique as each individual brings in their own ideas, personality, and style and how these couples come together in unity to plan their wedding of a lifetime. I desire for my clients wedding day to be full of joy and as relaxing as possible! I greatly anticipate the wedding day with just as much excitement as my couples! My goal is to vividly preserve my clients wedding day in all of their photographs so well, that their hearts can take a trip down memory lane to revisit that very blessed day in all of the years to come!

01

My sentimental heart has longed for quite some time, to have had my own picturesque wedding; so much so, that I even catch myself now daydreaming about a small vow renewal ceremony with family and close friends gathered around.  I left home, and eloped with my husband when I was almost 19. Our vows were exchanged in a small white walled courtroom with a Justice of the Peace, none of my family there, and a handful of quick pictures snapped by my new father in law.
I believe my past has shaped why photographing weddings is so very near and dear to my heart.  My heart cannot help but beat with great excitement while photographing another couple's wedding. My heart finds true joy in giving others the gift of beautifully heartfelt images on their wedding day, and for all of the rest of their years to come.
It is with my whole heart that I give, when being of service to my couples on their sacred and once in a lifetime day.

Elegant, sentimental, and joy filled photography with heart
