I am so excited that you are interested in choosing me to document your wedding! I believe in real moments, chasing sunsets, and the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.
My sentimental heart has longed for quite some time, to have had my own picturesque wedding; so much so, that I even catch myself now daydreaming about a small vow renewal ceremony with family and close friends gathered around. I left home, and eloped with my husband when I was almost 19. Our vows were exchanged in a small white walled courtroom with a Justice of the Peace, none of my family there, and a handful of quick pictures snapped by my new father in law.
I believe my past has shaped why photographing weddings is so very near and dear to my heart. My heart cannot help but beat with great excitement while photographing another couple's wedding. My heart finds true joy in giving others the gift of beautifully heartfelt images on their wedding day, and for all of the rest of their years to come.
It is with my whole heart that I give, when being of service to my couples on their sacred and once in a lifetime day.

After photographing weddings over the past
few years, I’ve found that I am not the perfect fit for every couple.
That’s why this process begins with a conversation. I want to hear
everything, how you met, funny first date stories, and how y’all got
engaged.
We’ll get to know one another, and talk about the joyful details of your
day. I will answer any questions you might have about working together, and we will figure out if we’re the best fit for each other. It is important to me that you feel connected, as it is my desire to be your friend, someone you can always count on, and your cheerleader for any challenges that may come along the way!

Even if you're working with a wedding planner, or you're planning a simple wedding, there are likely still a lot of moving pieces left leading up to your big day. I am happy to share everything I have learned along the way!
Wedding Advice
I am a big fan of engagement sessions for a few reasons. Not only do they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera, they also give you the opportunity to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you.
Engagement sessions can take place anywhere from immediately following a proposal to just a few weeks before the wedding. I’ve found that there isn’t a “good” or “bad” time to take your photos. We can plan sessions based on a particular “look” a couple has in mind, spring flowers for example, or based on schedules.
Engagement Session
I check-in before the wedding to start chatting about timeline specifics, special details, family formal shot lists, special traditions, and anything else I should know about your big day.
While I normally don't send this questionnaire until closer to the wedding, please don't hesitate to let me know if you have questions during the planning process!
Wedding Day Prep
It's finally here! The day the two of you say "I Do", and dance the night away, surrounded by your family and friends.
Just know, I'm excited to celebrate and capture your wedding day. It's going to be awesome!
The Big Day
You can expect your photos to be delivered via a private online gallery within 8-12 weeks of your wedding. At that time, I'll also send over details about preserving your images through prints and albums.
I do hope the relationship doesn't end after I deliver your photographs. I want to hear about the adventures of married life. If you decide to have kids, I'd love to document your growing family!

***Travel fees apply to wedding day locations outside of 60 miles. Ask for details.

One of the best ways to make your wedding memories last is by ordering
an album. These high quality professionally designed albums come in a
variety of linen & leather colors.
These aren’t the same albums your parents wedding photos came in.
They’re modern, lay perfectly flat, and look incredibly beautiful on coffee tables.
All albums must be prepaid before design begins. Albums typically take
between 4 to 6 weeks to complete and include three rounds of revision. Albums may be ordered up to a year after the wedding day!
ALBUMS
All of my wedding collections include a complimentary engagement session. It takes time for most couples to warm up to being
photographed, and to understand how to pose. Timelines can be
pretty tight on weddings days! Thirty to forty five minutes may be all we
have for portraits - which is why I’ve found that wedding day
portraits turn out so much better when couples do engagement
sessions ahead of time.
Engagement sessions also allow you to showcase your personalities in a more casual
setting that is significant to the two of you (and can even include
pets!) While they’re great for save-the-dates, I’ve taken
engagement photos anywhere from 18 months in advance to a
few weeks before the wedding.
Engagement Sessions
Fantastic! To reserve your wedding date, I'll need a completed contract and a non-refundable retainer to hold your date. If you have not requested a contract yet, just let me know and I’ll send one over! The remaining balance will be due 4-6 weeks before the wedding.
We love your work and we’re ready to book! What’s the next step?
Galleries typically include anywhere between 400 and 800 photos. The exact amount varies from wedding to wedding. Your online gallery will come loaded with fully edited high resolution images, and you can print anywhere with a print release if included in your particular collection. You’re also welcome to share your wedding photos on social media, tag me, and even a link to my website is always greatly appreciated as well!
How many photos are typically included and can we print the photos ourselves?
I typically add travel fees on to any wedding location outside of a 60 mile radius, from where I am based in Fredericksburg, TX. Fees vary depending on location, so please do not hesitate to ask me for more details!
